Zelensky and Sunak are in talks about jet coalition
President Volodymyr Zelensky has been discussing an aviation coalition with Prime Minister of Great Britain Rishi Sunak to provide modern fighter jets to Ukraine.
The head of state said this at a joint briefing with the British government chief in London, Ukrinform reports.
Zelensky says this is "a critical topic for Ukraine because we cannot control the sky."
"We want to create this aviation coalition, and I'm very confident. We've talked about it, and … you're going to see some of what I think are important decisions soon. But I think we need to work on it a little more," said Zelensky.
As reported, the UK government announced that the training of Ukrainian pilots would begin this summer.
