"The first important steps will be taken soon": Zelensky on Ukraine's counteroffensive

The first important steps regarding the Ukrainian counteroffensive will take place "soon": everyone will see it, and Russia will feel it.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, voiced his opinion on the matter in an interview with Italian media outlets.

"We are preparing very seriously. And there will definitely be very serious steps. I know that we are all motivated. And not only those who know this plan but our people… I cannot answer you [where and when the counteroffensive will begin – ed.] But you will definitely see it, and Russia will definitely feel it.

[…]We believe in victory, and we think that the first important steps will be taken soon," the Ukrainian head of state.

At the same time, Zelensky emphasized that his frankness about the specific place and time of the start of the counteroffensive "will not help Ukraine, but will hinder it."
