Russian forces shell Chernihiv border region
As of 3:00 p.m. on May 8, Russian troops shelled the border of the Chernihiv region three more times.
The "North" operational command reports this on Telegram.
From 08:02 to 09:19, six hits, probably from a 120 mm mortar, were recorded in the area of the Leonivka settlement.
From 10:25 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 12 shots, probably from barrel artillery, were recorded in the area of the Moschenko settlement.
From 11:15 to 11:55, 16 hits, probably from self-propelled guns, were recorded in the area of the Buda-Vorob'ivska settlement.
In addition, from 12:04 to 12:15, four shots, probably from barrel artillery, were recorded in the area of the settlement of Oleksandrivka.
From 12:20 to 13:55, 21 hits, probably from barrel artillery, were recorded in the area of the Moschenko settlement.
"No information was received about losses among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure," the message reads.

The South Operational Command reports on Facebook that the Russian forces launched Kh-22 missiles from strategic aircraft in the Odesa region and directed them at the warehouse of one of the food enterprises and the recreation area on the Black Sea coast. Later, it became known that three people were injured due to a Russian attack on the Odesa region. Another person was considered missing. The fire at the site of the strike has been extinguished.

Continuing the tactics of terror, the Russian Federation launched 16 rocket attacks on eastern Kharkiv and southern Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.
