Ukraine and the Russian Federation exchanged lists and information about prisoners.

Ukrainian ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets announced this on the air of the telethon, Donbas News reports.

The ombudsman noted that two rounds of negotiations have already been held, and Ukraine expects a third.

Lubinets also emphasized that missing persons are being talked over separately. Although there is no expected breakthrough, there is positive news, he added.

"For example, people, heroes, our citizens who were considered dead — the Russian side confirmed that 23 of our guys are alive," the ombudsman said.

Earlier, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence representative, Andrii Yusov, said that exchanging prisoners with the Russian Federation in the "all for all" format is not just a dream but a concrete task that will be fulfilled.

As Rubryka reported, during the last exchange, on April 26, Ukraine had another swap with the Russian Federation: 42 defenders and two civilians returned home.

Earlier, Rubryka reported that Ukraine held another exchange of prisoners on Easter. One hundred thirty defenders were freed from Russian captivity.
