NGO Building Ukraine Together to hold large-scale cleaning of Ukrainian cities and regions
Building Ukrainian Together (BUR) is organizing an all-Ukrainian cleaning project for the third consecutive year, which the NGO timed to the European Day of Parks to ensure the cleanliness of Ukraine's green areas.
Rubryka reports that this year, the communal work will be held on May 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in all Ukrainian communities that volunteer to participate in the event.
BUR is looking for people who will implement a large-scale initiative on the ground — local and regional coordinators.
Young activists, members of public organizations, employees of local self-government bodies, and anyone who wants to make their locality cleaner can become a coordinator.
Regional coordinators are responsible for holding the project in their locality, area, or region: BUR provides local coordinators with tools and everything they need. Local coordinators organize communal work in their city or village.
These active Ukrainians will coordinate on-site volunteers, conduct safety briefings, and ensure volunteers are informed about the event. Coordinators receive unique BUR merch as a sign of belonging to the country's construction team.
