Fashion brand Rikky Hype drops "Keep Growing" line to support Ukrainian farmers
On Earth Day, the Ukrainian clothing brand Rikky Hype released a "Keep Growing" drop to draw attention to the problems of Ukrainian households and farmers during the war.
Marketing Media Review reports that the brand also announced joint fundraising with the Seeds for Ukraine project by the Kyiv School of Economics to purchase seeds.
The publication said the brand put several meanings into the project. "Keep Growing" is a call to the tireless Ukrainian people not to stop in the fight against the enemy, as well as against themselves. The brand urges them to improve, introduce ecological habits, and never become uncaring.
In the same way, the brand believes in restoring nature, improving the situation in the agricultural industry, and a close victory.
"Quite often, my team and I go on a business trip to Kharkiv to one of the brand's production facilities, and outside the car window, we observe endless picturesque landscapes and fields. We cannot sit idle," the brand founders said. "A large part of Ukraine's agricultural areas is mined, under occupation, or in a war zone, and farmers are doing everything possible to enrich the country. We want to support them."
The brand has already donated UAH 40,000 to the Seeds for Ukraine project, which supports Ukrainian people in rural areas affected by war and farmers. The greenhouses will be installed in the war-torn Kharkiv Region.
Since the start of the collection, they have announced new joint fundraising of UAH 50,000 to purchase seeds.
"This year, we set an ambitious goal to install 100 greenhouses in communities in the de-occupied territories of Kharkiv and Kherson regions. The Rikky Hype brand team was the first to respond," says Volodymyr Kadihrob, founder of the Seeds for Ukraine project. "To date, 12 greenhouses out of 100 have been ordered. We are grateful to our colleagues that the village of Hontarivka will have its greenhouse next to the school."
The specially designed t-shirts, which have become the symbol of the collection, will be presented in 5 different models. Traditionally, the brand will donate part of the profit from the collection to aid.
