Russia shells Kherson and Beryslav
On Sunday, April 16, the Russian invaders shelled the cities of Kherson and Beryslav.
Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, head of the information policy department of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, announced this on the air of the Yedyni Novyny telethon, Ukrinform reports.
"They (the Russian army) continue terrorizing the entire Kherson region, attacking peaceful settlements, schools, medical facilities, and critical infrastructure. And already today, they are shelling Kherson again. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Right now, Beryslav is under fire," he informed.
According to him, for security reasons, there were no gatherings of people in the temples and near them in the regional center. It is forbidden to visit cemeteries.
"We hope people will follow [the restrictions]," Tolokonnikov noted.
