Denmark to provide Ukraine with 100 Leopard battle tanks by summer
Ukraine will start receiving Leopard-1 battle tanks from Denmark by summer.
Acting Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Denmark Troels Lund Poulsen announced this during the briefing of the Defense Ministers of Denmark and Ukraine in the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa, Ukrinform reports.
"We will start deliveries of Leopard to Ukraine by the summer. Looking ahead, I hope that it will be possible to transfer about 100 Leopard-1 tanks; this will be a significant help for the Ukrainian army," said Poulsen.
Also, the Acting Minister of Defense noted that next month Ukraine might receive CAESAR artillery installations, on which the Ukrainian military is already training at the Danish training grounds.

"In the near future, we will hear leopards growling with a Danish accent," Ukrainian Defense Minister, Oleksii Reznikov, joked.
