Ukrainian model sacrifices career to become a soldier

After the beginning of the russian aggression, the Ukrainian model Yulia gave up her career to become a fighter in the "Liut'"(Fury) military unit.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reports this.
According to the Ministry, Yulia changed her high heels to military boots and her model outfit to a uniform. Before the full-scale invasion began, she dreamed of contracts abroad. However, after February 24, 2022, she remained in Ukraine.
Currently, Yulia is preparing to serve in the "Liut'" assault brigade. She was the only woman from Kyiv and the region during the selection. In addition, the girl is an instructor in tactical medicine.
Yulia said that her former colleagues are now working in Europe. "I'm watching them [ex-colleagues – ed.]. I concluded that I want to be here now," the girl says.
Within a year, Yulia acquired skills in tactical medicine and became an instructor.
According to the fighter, she knew what she was going for and that no one would spare her. Therefore, it motivated her more to join the "Offensive Guard."
Her husband also serves in the police and has been on combat missions in the country's east since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

It should be noted that, on February 2, the Acting Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs began to form 8 "Offensive Guard" assault brigades to strengthen the Defense Forces and liberate the occupied territories.
All military personnel who will become stormtroopers in the "Offensive Guard" are promised a list of social guarantees, including the opportunity to receive housing and treatment and study at a university.
