russian forces shelled a kindergarten in Kherson region
On March 17, russian occupiers shelled a kindergarten in the village of Veletenske, the Kherson region.
Luckily, no one was injured, the Kherson regional military administration reports.
"russian troops shelled the village of Veletenske in the Bilozersk district – they targeted a children's institution," the report says.
The kindergarten building was damaged due to an enemy attack. The shelling damaged private houses, fences, and concrete gates.
russian forces have shelled children's facilities before. On February 2, the russian military shelled a kindergarten in the village of Zolota Balka, Kherson region. Gladly, there were no victims.
Earlier before, on March 11, russian shelling killed three civilians in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson.
russian troops have regularly attacked the city of Kherson, towns, and villages in the region's government-controlled areas ever since they were liberated by Ukrainian forces in early November 2022.
