A "warship coalition" was created in support of Ukraine. The coalition already includes three countries, namely Great Britain, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov announced that at a briefing on Tuesday, March 14.

"Now, there is a trend to create certain coalitions in favor of Ukraine. There was a tank coalition, earlier, an aviation coalition. Now a naval coalition is emerging."

"Thanks to today's announcement by the Netherlands about the provision of minesweepers (mine hunters), we can essentially say that a naval coalition is being created," said the head of the defense department.

Reznikov added that Great Britain has already handed over two minesweepers, on which Ukrainian crews are officially located, and the flag of the Ukrainian Naval Forces has been raised.

"At least three countries (plus Belgium) are already part of the naval coalition," Reznikov noted.

The Minister of Defense of the Netherlands, Kajsa Ollongren, confirmed that the Netherlands and Belgium will provide Ukraine with mine detection and disposal systems for the coast guard in 2025.

"The Netherlands is providing two minesweepers of the Alkmaar class, and we will start training Ukrainian units, so they know how to use these boats," Ollongren said.

It should be reminded that Reznikov informed on the number of countries forming the anti-kremlin coalition. He also reported on the development of the tank coalition.
