russia steps up its war effort by sea and air
On February 13, russia stationed a frigate with Kalibr cruise missiles in the Black Sea and increased reconnaissance drones in the southern direction.
Rubryka reports, citing the Ukrainian army's South Operational Command's press service.
"The enemy is increasing the presence of missile carriers in the Black Sea and intensifying air reconnaissance," the statement says. "russia added a frigate to two already stationed submarine missile carriers, so the total launch of Kalibr missiles is now 16."
The South Operational Command adds that they record more reconnaissance UAVs along the front line.
Amid these actions by the russian forces, the command believes that russia will increase the attack from the air, urging citizens and Ukraine's guests not to ignore air raid warnings.
Earlier, Natalia Humeniuk, the joint press center chief at the Ukrainian army's South Operational Command, stated that russia is preparing for another massive missile strike on the first anniversary of its invasion of Ukraine, February 14.
On February 11, it was reported that russia had put two submarine missile carriers on combat duty in the Black Sea.
On February 10, Ukraine's Defense Forces destroyed 61 out of 71 rockets launched by the russian occupiers during another massive rocket attack with rocket launchers. It was the 14th massive missile attack since October 10, when russia started rocket strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
