Zelensky held meeting with Poland's President on his way home from US
Returning from his first foreign visit to the USA since the start of the full-scale war, President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda.
As Rubryka writes, Zelensky announced this on Facebook.
"On the way home, I met with a friend of Ukraine — the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda. We summed up the year, which brought historic challenges due to a full-scale war. We discussed strategic plans for the future, bilateral relations, and interactions at the international level in 2023," Zelensky wrote on Facebook.
The head of state also thanked Poland "for its constant and powerful support."
The President's Office added that Zelensky and Duda met in the city of Rzeszów, where they "discussed strategic plans for the future, the agenda of bilateral relations and cooperation at the international level in the coming year."
The message states: "The presidents touched on a wide range of topics with an emphasis on strengthening the defense capability of the Ukrainian state and humanitarian issues, which are extremely important, in particular, for Ukrainian temporary migrants who were forced to leave Ukraine to escape the war."

As reported, on Wednesday, Zelensky arrived at the White House, where he held talks with US President Joe Biden.
Against the backdrop of the visit, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Wednesday officially announced a new $1.85 billion military aid package for Ukraine, which for the first time includes the transfer of the Patriot air defense system.
The head of state also spoke before both houses of the US Congress in Washington, where he called the next year decisive in the war with russia.
