CNN notes that Zelensky's visit to the White House has not been finalized, and information remains limited for security reasons.
At the same time, according to CNN, it will include a meeting of Zelensky with Biden and senior officials of the administration of the US president.
The visit, the publication writes, coincides with the intention of the Biden administration to send Ukraine a new defense aid package, which will include Patriot missile systems.
Later, Zelensky himself confirmed the trip to the US to meet with Biden on Twitter.

We will remind you that the mass media reported earlier that the Capitol is preparing to host the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, at the Congress session on December 21.
This will be Zelensky's first personal visit to the United States since russia invaded Ukraine in February.
While the visit details have not yet been finalized, the US Capitol Police are beefing up security for the likely visit on Wednesday.
Zelensky is expected to thank lawmakers for the billions of dollars in military aid they have provided and make a case for why even more funding is needed.
In addition, the media outlet notes in a letter to colleagues on Tuesday, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi asked "all members of the House of Representatives to attend our meeting on Wednesday night," calling the meeting "special" and "dedicated to democracy."
