Republicans urge Biden to provide Ukraine with ATACM missiles and more "right weapons"
After information about the retreat of russian troops from Kherson, the Republican Party called on the President of the United States, Joe Biden, to provide Ukraine with more weapons, including long-range ATACMs missiles
CNS reports this.
It is noted that the Republican congressman, a member of the House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, Michael McCaul called on Biden to arm Ukraine with "the right weapons."
"It is far past time for the Biden administration to provide Kyiv with all the weapons it needs, including longer-range ATACMs, to ensure putin, and all aggressors, understand they cannot win unprovoked wars of aggression," he noted.
McCall also added that with the "right weapons," the Ukrainian Armed Forces would be able to retake all the regions captured by russia.
CNS notes that he is not the only Republican who supports increasing military aid to Ukraine.
So, the House of Representatives member Mike Rogers (from Alabama) back in September also spoke in favor of providing Ukraine with ATACM missiles.
"I can't help but imagine how much more successful Ukraine's counteroffensive would be if President Biden was giving Ukraine all the long-range weapons they've asked for," he emphasized.
We will remind you that we previously wrote that Biden spoke about the transfer of HIMARS to Ukraine.
At the beginning of October, the ambassador of Ukraine to the USA, Oksana Markarova, reported that Kyiv is actively discussing the transfer of long-range missiles with Washington.
As Rubryka wrote, the leader of the United States also commented on the statement of the russians regarding the retreat of russian troops from Kherson.
