Enemy missiles shot down in Kyiv region, Chernivtsi region
Enemy missiles have been reported shot down in the Kyiv region and the Chernivtsi region.
The relevant statements were made by Head of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kyiv region Andrii Niebytov and Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration Head Ruslan Zaparaniuk on the social media, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Niebytov, a Russian missile was destroyed over one of districts in the Kyiv region.
"No casualties or destructions were reported. The [missile] fragments fell in the forest area," Niebytov wrote on Telegram.
Another missile was shot down by the Ukrainian Army's aircraft in the Chernivtsi region.
"Over the Chernivtsi region's Dnistrovskyi district, an aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a missile, and it fell in the lake," Zaparaniuk noted on Telegram, adding that no destructions had been reported.
A reminder that, on the night of October 22, 2022, the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units shot down 10 Iranian-manufactured Shahed-136 suicide drones in the Mykolaiv region.
