Eighth caravan with Ukrainian food left ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk

Another four ships with Ukrainian agricultural products left Ukrainian ports

The Ministry of Defense of Turkey announced this on Twitter.

As noted, this is already the eighth caravan with Ukrainian food.

"Grain shipments from Ukrainian ports continue as planned," the post reads.

These vessels are transporting sunflower oil, sunflower grist, and corn.

To recap, the seventh caravan of five bulk carriers with Ukrainian corn and wheat left on August 16 from two ports in the Odesa region.

Six ships were granted permission to export grain from Ukrainian ports.

More than 23,000 tons of wheat were loaded onto the Brave Commander bulk carrier in the Pivdennyi port, which was being prepared for shipment to Ethiopia.

On August 14, the ship Rojen arrived in the Italian city of Ravenna with 15 tons of Ukrainian corn.

During implementing of the Initiative on the safe transportation of grain, 17 vessels have already departed from Ukrainian ports. More than 475,000 tons of agricultural products are on board.

As Rubryka reported, on the morning of August 1, the RAZONI ship sailed from Odesa under the flag of Sierra Leone with 26,000 tons of Ukrainian corn.

It is the first time since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion that a grain truck has left the Odesa port. This became possible thanks to the agreements reached in Istanbul with the mediation of Turkey and the UN.

The coordination center in Istanbul is responsible for the inspection.

It should be noted that 20.8 million tons of grain of the new crop were collected in Ukraine. In particular, the Mykolaiv and Transcarpathian regions have entirely completed the collection of the produce of the early group.
