Thanks to our team and Fedoriv Agency. Now we're officially a creative digital country!" Fedorov wrote in the message.
To recap, on June 21, the branding of the Chornobyl Zone received a silver statuette at the Cannes Lions Festival in the Design category.
In the same category, the awards were:
- Bickerstaff.734 team won bronze for branding the island of Khortytsia (Ukraine),
- Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine's team received bronze for the Motherland Pride project (visualization of the Motherland with the LGBT+ flag for KyivPride).
As Rubryka reported, on June 21, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the participants of the Cannes Lions International Festival.
"I'll be honest with you—the end of this war and its circumstances depend on the world's attention. And that's why I need allies. We need people like you.
You are the most creative people in the world—always on the cutting edge. Whether it's the Refugee Flag or the Fearless Girl, the Ice Bucket Challenge, or the Rivers of Light—every time you find words and images to reach the depths of the human soul, you make people talk about issues everyone would otherwise overlook.
I am sure that you will do a lot more to promote Ukrainian bravery. Your campaigns and your work will make our fight for freedom legendary because we are fighting not only for our own freedom but for the freedom of the entire democratic world, for all of those who cannot even imagine the extent of tyranny and censorship that exist in Russia.
Now you can bring peace to Europe simply by applying your professional qualities.
I believe that the power of human creativity is greater than the power of a nuclear state that is stuck in the past.
Speak of Ukraine! Don't let the world switch to something else! The world must remember that Ukraine is fighting for freedom. This fight must end in our victory as soon as possible.
Your every success will mean saving thousands of lives," the Ukrainian President called.

Diia (Action) is a mobile app, a web portal, and a brand of e-governance in Ukraine. After the launch in 2020, the Diia app allows Ukrainian citizens to use digital documents on their smartphones instead of physical ones for identification and sharing purposes. The Diia portal also provides access to over 50 governmental services.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation, together with the E-Governance for Accountability and Participation Program, is implementing the project to make 100% public services available online. The EGAP explains:
"The concept of the digital state was preceded by the development of Diia as a national brand, which was also done with the support of the EGAP Program. The Diia brand stands for 'the State and I' and is based on the contemporary idea that interactions between individuals and their government should be easy, understandable, and quick. They should not waste time or energy, nor should they involve unnecessary dealings with bureaucrats, which is a great way to cut out corruption."
Digitalization has become Ukraine's flagship topic and state's priority. The Ministry of Digital Transformation has the ambition to make Ukraine a world champion in being digital, and Ukrainians are already the first ones who can use digital IDs with absolutely no internal restrictions.
