Ukrainian driving license can be exchanged to the EU one
The Ukrainian driver's license was adapted to the European Union standards
It was reported by the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service.
"Currently, instead of icons, for example, glasses, the driver's license contains codes used in the European driver's license.
Also, there is a mark "78" on the license, indicating that the driver passed a practical exam on a car with automatic transmission.
So, if you want to have a European document, exchange your old license at the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers, " the agency said.
To exchange a driver's license, one must provide:
- passport;
- a copy of the ITN;
- driving license.
As reported by Rubryka, the German government is discussing with the European Commission the possibility of recognizing Ukrainian driver's licenses.
According to them, such rules are required to help Ukrainian refugees and transport companies.
According to Spiegel, at the EU level, the federal government and the federal states are discussing with the European Commission the possibility of recognizing Ukrainian driver's licenses.
