At least 5 Ukrainian children have been injured in russian shelling in the past 24 hours

This was reported by Rubryka, referring to the Telegram of the Office of the Prosecutor General.

According to the prosecutor's office, the total number of wounded children during the war has risen to 367, and at least 205 children died.

"More than 572 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression by the russian federation. Over the past day, the official number of dead children has not changed; it's 205. The number of wounded has increased to 367.

These figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories," the statement said.

Most children were affected in:

  • Kyiv (108),
  • Kharkiv (91),
  • Chernihiv (54),
  • Kherson (43),
  • Mykolaiv (40),
  • Luhansk (36),
  • Zaporizhzhia (25),
  • Sumy (16),
  • Zhytomyr (15) regions
  • the capital (16).

In addition, it became known that on March 14 in a forest near the village of Zakharivka, Kyiv region, a civilian car exploded on an unidentified explosive device; the family tried to evacuate to safety. As a result, an 8-year-old child was injured and their mother died.

April 18 as a result of artillery shelling by the occupiers of the village. A 16-year-old girl was injured in Shandryholove in the Donetsk region.

Also on April 18, the shelling of the village of Preobrazhenka in the Zaporizhzhia region injured a 14-year-old girl.

On April 18, the russians launched a missile strike on the territory of the city of Lviv, as a result of which a 3-year-old child was injured.
