Scholz plans to allocate 2 billion euros for military equipment for Ukraine, Reuters reports

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz wants to spend an additional 2 billion euros on military aid to Ukraine. In particular, for the purchase of military equipment.

This was reported by Reuters.

According to a source in the German government, it is estimated that 400 million euros will go to the European Peace Fund, which buys weapons for Ukraine.

The rest of the funds will be used for bilateral military contracts with Kyiv.
