Ukraine's Ministry of Defense: Active hostilities in Donbas will begin soon
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports Russia has almost finished preparations for the offensive operation in Donbas.
This was announced at a briefing on Monday, April 11, by Defense Ministry spokesperson Oleksandr Motuzianyk.
"The enemy is completing the restoration of its units and their transfer to the territory of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. We predict that active hostilities will begin in the near future. The Ukrainian army is ready for this," Motuzianyk said.
According to him, the main efforts of the enemy are aimed at:
- preparation for the defeat of the Joint forces,
- establishing full control over Donetsk and Luhansk regions,
- ensuring a stable overland corridor with the temporarily occupied Crimea.
