Podoliak reveals Ukrainian delegation's proposals regarding Crimea and ORDLO
The status of Crimea and Sevastopol will be resolved within 15 years in bilateral talks
This was stated by the Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podoliak, who is taking part in talks with Russia, at a briefing on March 29 in Turkey.
He noted that the Ukrainian delegation offered Russia to fix the issue of Crimea and Sevastopol in a separate clause of the agreement.
"As for such issues as Crimea, this is also a separate clause of the agreement. We propose to set the proposal of Ukraine and Russia to hold bilateral talks on the status of Crimea and Sevastopol separately for 15 years," Podoliak said.
The adviser to the Head of the OPU also added that in a separate paragraph Ukraine suggested to the Russian side that Ukraine and Russia would not use military or armed forces to resolve the Crimea issue during the talks.
The issues of ORDLO in the agreement are also made in a separate paragraph and should be discussed by the presidents.
The Ukrainian side offered a meeting again.
