Near Kyiv, the occupiers are trying to break through the defenses from the northwest and east to take control of key highways and settlements, which are being held back by Ukrainian troops.
The General Staff reported this.
In the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, the Armed Forces repulsed 5 enemy attacks. 2 enemy tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, and a car were destroyed. The enemy also suffered casualties.
Defensive battles continue in the Kharkiv region in the areas of the settlements of Topolske, Kamianka, Sukha Kamianka.
In the south, the main efforts of the Defense Forces are in the defense of Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv, the maintenance of parts of the sea coast, the protection and defense of critical infrastructure.
It is noted that the Armed Forces are holding back the advance of the enemy in the directions of the settlements of Huliaipole and Zaporizhia.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Armed Forces repel the assault on the occupiers in the area of the settlement of Verkhnotoretske.
Defense operations continue in the Volyn and Siveria directions. The situation is under control and has not changed significantly.
