During the month of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, the occupiers killed 128 children

The Office of the Prosecutor General provided tragic statistics, Rubryka reports.

Seven children have died in the past 24 hours alone.

According to the prosecutor's office, the number of injured increased to 172 children.

Most victims were recorded:

  • Kyiv region – 64,
  • Kharkiv region – 43,
  • Donetsk region – 43,
  • Chernihiv region – 32,
  • Mykolaiv region – 24,
  • in the city of Kyiv – 16,
  • Zhytomyr region – 15,
  • Kherson region – 15
  • Sumy region – 14 regions.

On Wednesday, March 23, in Mariupol, rescuers found the body of 11-year-old Ukrainian gymnast Kateryna Diachenko under the rubble of a house shelled by the occupiers. Her house collapsed after an enemy shell hit.

The girl has repeatedly won major competitions.

In addition, on March 11 during the evacuation of civilians in the village of Peremoha of the Brovary district of the Kyiv region, the Russian military fired on a convoy of cars. A 13-year-old boy died as a result.

In Bucha, on March 13, enemy soldiers mercilessly shot a car with his family, killing two children aged 4 and 9, as well as their mother.

In addition, the number of victims is growing every day in Ukraine.

9 children from Mariupol and Severodonetsk were taken to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Children's Clinical Hospital with severe injuries due to the shelling.

During the month of the war, the Russian occupiers damaged 566 educational institutions, of which 73 were completely destroyed. In particular, more than 230 schools and 155 kindergartens have already been damaged or destroyed.
