About 20,000 people have already left Mariupol via humanitarian corridor
About 20,000 people left Mariupol on the humanitarian corridor in private cars.
According to Rubryka, this was announced by Deputy Head of the Office of the President, Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
"Today, about 20,000 people left Mariupol in a humanitarian corridor in private cars. Of the 4,000 cars that left the city, 570 have already arrived in Zaporizhia," he said.
According to Tymoshenko, other people will stay overnight in the settlements of the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. Everyone is given the necessary help.
In total, about 29,000 people were reportedly evacuated from the blocked cities through humanitarian corridors on March 15. The work of nine humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of people has been agreed upon.
