Zelenskyy addressed Canadians and the diaspora: we want to live
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the parliamentarians, the government, and the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada and called for assistance to Ukraine in the fight against Russian invaders.
Zelenskyy states this in a video address.
"I want to address our Ukrainian diaspora, all Ukrainians in Canada. It is at this historic moment that we need your effective help. And you must prove with your steps that you are part of the history of Ukraine, the living history of Ukraine. Remember this: alive history. Because we want to live, and we want peace.
I thank you for your support. To everyone present in this hall of parliament. To every citizen of Canada. Grateful on behalf of all the Ukrainian people. I am sure that together, and only together, we will defeat all enemies," Zelenskyy said.
