"This is complete fiction": Kuleba called for tough sanctions for attempting "referendum" in Kherson
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba reacted to information about attempts by the Russian occupiers to hold a pseudo-referendum in the Kherson region.
He wrote about this on Twitter.
The Foreign Minister said that Russia would try to hold a mock "referendum" on the creation of a people's republic.
The center of the new formation should be the occupied Kherson.
"Support among the people is zero, so this is complete fiction. Tough sanctions should be imposed on Russia if these plans are implemented. Kherson is and will always be Ukraine," Kuleba wrote.
Earlier it became known that the occupiers do not abandon their intention to hold a "referendum" in Kherson for the "People's Republic."
