Thousands of detainees at anti-war rallies in Russia: police brutally disperse protesters
Anti-war actions are taking place in Russian cities, where protesters are being detained en masse

More than 2,000 people are currently detained in 44 Russian cities.
"The largest number of detainees is in Moscow, almost 500 people; Novosibirsk – 279; St. Petersburg – 267; Ekaterinburg – 206 people.
In Ekaterinburg, in particular, Russian police knock people to the ground and kick them," the statement said.
