Ukrainian Foreign Ministry recalls its ambassadors from Georgia and Kyrgyzstan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is recalling the ambassadors to Kyrgyzstan and Georgia for consultations due to unfriendly steps by these countries amid the Russian military invasion.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this.
"As for our diplomats. Our diplomats are just now implementing fair and absolutely necessary decisions regarding those states that have betrayed their word and international law. We immediately recall the ambassador from Kyrgyzstan for consultations. To justify aggression against Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.
The president added that the ambassador from Georgia was also immediately recalled: "for obstacles to volunteers who want to help us."
"For an immoral stance on sanctions," he said in a telephone conversation.
It should be noted that Kyrgyz leader Sadir Zhaparov while talking with Russian President Vladimir Putin supported the aggression against Ukraine and said that Kyiv had violated the Minsk agreements.
As for Georgia, it became known on Monday that up to 60 people who wanted to go to Ukraine as volunteers could not leave the country.
According to them, the country's authorities did not allow a private airliner to fly to Georgia, which was to fly from Tbilisi International Airport.
