Painting auction in Ivano-Frankivsk region raised funds for a bus for children with disabilities
Proceeds from the auction will be used to pay for the registration and transportation of a special bus for seriously ill children and children with disabilities.
Kolomyia Mayor Bohdan Stanislavskyi announced this on Facebook.
"A charity auction was held at the Zodiac Art Gallery. Lots were paintings painted by students of the Unified Center for Social and Rehabilitation Services. Artists from Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Lviv also joined this initiative. And one of the paintings was donated by artists from Germany," Stanislavskyi said.
According to him, the charity auction was held as part of the "Put A Dream On Wheels" campaign. All lots were sold. Proceeds from the auction will be used to pay for the registration and transportation of a special bus that will transport children with disabilities, cancer patients, and dialysis users.
