"We'll go to Qatar": Petrakov team's reaching playoffs qualifiers for 2022 World Cup
Acting head coach of the national team of Ukraine Oleksandr Petrakov commented on the results of the group stage of the selection for the 2022 World Cup.
Petrakov said this on the air of the Football 1 TV channel, ZN.UA reports.
"We're thrilled. But we've completed only 50% of the task. Ahead, we have the draw, the playoffs. We're not afraid of anyone, that's for sure. We'll play, and we want to make it to the World Cup. Whoever we get, I think we will beat them and go to Qatar. I've already adapted to the national team, it has been very difficult for me. The experienced guys, Yarmolenko, Stepanenko, Piatov, Kryvtsov, as well as those who are younger, have all helped me. I want to thank my footballers for the help I was given, "Petrakov said.
To recap, yesterday, on November 16, the national team of Ukraine finished a group stage of qualifiers of the World Cup-2022 with no defeat. In this selection, the team has 2 wins and 6 draws.
