Homes for stray animals set up in Zhytomyr region city
Wooden houses for homeless cats and dogs have been set up in the town of Ovruch in the Zhytomyr region.
The Ovruch city council reports about it on Facebook.
"Supporting important public initiatives for the protection of animals, employees of the Harne Misto municipal enterprise built two houses for animals living near the garage complex on Kyivska Street in Ovruch," the statement said.
It is noted that one wooden house is designed for 4 animals. The floor is paved with hay, so the animals will be able to hide there from the cold and rain.
The houses were set up where stray animals usually live. Cats and dogs settled near the garage complex.
