Ukraine presents the rating of cities by quality of life and utilities
In Ukraine, the rating of cities by quality of life and utilities was presented.
It was compiled by the International Republican Institute (IRI) in Ukraine together with the "Rating" Sociological Group.
It is compiled per the index of quality assessment of services in 24 cities of Ukraine.
The services included in the evaluation list:
- sidewalks
- garbage collection
- transport infrastructure, public transport
- roads
- cultural institutions
- public parks and squares
- yards and adjacent territories
- police activities
- ecology, environment
- parking
Vinnytsia received the highest indicator of residents' satisfaction with the services and comfort provided by the city authorities in 2021. It defeated not only the capital but also 24 other regional centers and major cities of the country.
Behind Vinnytsia is Lutsk, whose economy is saturated with remittances from Polish migrant workers.
Next are Ivano-Frankivsk, where there's a significant increase in wages, as well as Chernihiv, which has significantly improved its performance, and Khmelnytskyi, with the high business activity of residents.
Full rating of regional centers and the largest cities of Ukraine in terms of quality of life and a dozen other parameters (excluding the occupied regions):
1. Vinnytsia – 3.6 (total quality index of 22 measured services, taken together, where 1 means terrible, 2 – bad, 3 – average, 4 – good, and 5 – excellent);
