Ukraine will have to introduce restrictions for unvaccinated citizens - Radutskyi
Ukraine will soon be forced to impose restrictions on unvaccinated citizens, says Mykhailo Radutsky, head of the parliamentary committee on public health.
Radutskyi stated this on Facebook.
According to Radutskyi, Ukraine will be forced later to impose restrictions on unvaccinated citizens.
The Ministry of Health has already announced that schools, where at least 80% of teachers are vaccinated (currently only half of the total number of teachers are vaccinated), will be operating in case of the epidemiological situation deteriorating.
"In my opinion, it's logical to introduce similar restrictions for transporters, catering companies, and commercial or utility service structures whose employees are in direct contact with the population. A sick minibus driver infects no fewer people than a teacher. We're not talking about mandatory vaccination in Ukraine. No one has the right to force a person to be vaccinated, but it's fair to demand that work that involves contact with a large number of people be performed by vaccinated staff.
A month ago we had a shortage of vaccines. But last week we received more than 2 million vaccines, more than 2.5 million. Vaccination is open to everyone. We offer companies to apply, order a mobile team and vaccinate employees just in the workplace. Therefore, now everyone decides for themselves: leisure and full-fledged work or forced restrictions during the next wave of coronavirus," the people's deputy said.
As Rubryka reported, 38,080 people were vaccinated in Ukraine yesterday.
