2020 Olympics: Ukraine's number-one tennis player Svitolina won the second victory

Ukraine's number-one tennis player, Elina Svitolina, won the second victory in singles at the Tokyo Olympics.

In the second-round match, the Ukrainian defeated Ajla Tomljanović from Australia: 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Svitolina and Tomljanović met on the court for the fourth time. In the last three matches, which were also won by the Ukrainian, the tennis player from Australia took only one set.

In the third round, Svitolina will play with Maria Sakkari from Greece (№19 in the world rankings). The Greek leads 2-1 in personal meetings.

To recap, in the first round, Svitolina defeated Laura Siegemund from Germany.
