PrivatBank elects a new head: what we know about him
PrivatBank's Supervisory Board has elected Gerhard Bösch as the new Chairperson of the Management Board. He'll receive the position after approval by the National Bank of Ukraine.

"PrivatBank's Supervisory Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gerhard Bösch as the new Chairperson of the Management Board of PrivatBank. Completion of this competitive selection is an important factor for the further development and success of the bank," the bank said in a statement.
What we know about Gerhard Bösch
Gerhard Bösch graduated from the University of Vienna with a master's degree in socio-economic sciences. From 1993 to 2004, he held senior positions in various banks, and in 2004-2006, he held the position of Head of the World Treasury and Markets Department at Raiffeisen Central bank.
In March 2006, Bösch was appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Central bank. Since November 2010, he has been the First Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank Aval.
