Zelenskyi: Ukraine is on the right path to restarting the Constitutional Court

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi assures that all anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine are working, and resetting the Constitutional Court is on the right track.

He stated this in an interview with the French newspaper Le Figaro; the Office of the President published the translation of the full text is on its website.

"All anti-corruption bodies are working. The CCU hasn't been reset yet, but we're on the right track," Zelenskyi said.

He added he knew some financial groups that influenced the CCU.

According to the head of state, they're also represented by some deputies of the Verkhovna Rada.

At the same time, the President noted these groups were losing their influence.

As Rubryka reported, on March 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi revoked decrees appointing Oleksandr Tupytskyi and Oleksandr Kasminin as judges of the CCU.

On April 15, after receiving the opinion of the Venice Commission, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law providing for the improvement of the procedure of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (№ 4533) in the second reading.
