From March 20, Kyiv introduces strict quarantine restrictions - Klychko

In Kyiv, they decided to introduce a "red" quarantine zone. It will work from 00:01 on March 20 to April 9 including.

The mayor of the capital Vitalii Klychko declared it. The local emergency commission made this decision.

It will be forbidden:

  • For cultural institutions to work (cinemas, theaters, museums, concert halls will be closed)

Also:

  • Food venues will work only for takeaway
  • Gas stations will work in compliance with strict standards and without the work of the cafe
  • Hairdressers and beauty salons will work by appointment. And fitness and gyms as well, but without group classes
  • Kindergartens will work. Schools will return to remote work after the break
  • All enterprises and organizations of the budget sphere are moving to remote work
  • Private businesses should also switch to remote as much as possible. Except for critical infrastructure enterprises
  • Public transport in the capital will work as usual. With the observance of strict norms of transportation of passengers and a mask regime. With 50% occupancy.

"I urge everyone to act consciously and responsibly to the situation and adhere to the restrictions that will be imposed! We need to buy time and do everything to prevent the collapse of the medical system. Not to endanger people's lives!" Vitalii Klychko said on Telegram.
