Kyivavtodor press service reported on Facebook.

"At night, road workers continued to clear Kyiv of snow. Around 1 am, a new snowfall began. So, everything cleared quickly began to be swept. We cleaned the roads and sidewalks again. At night, 441 units of special equipment and 251 workers from 40 manual cleaning crews were involved," the message reads.

Currently, the number of the equipment has been increased to 472 units. And also over 500 workers in warehouses of manual cleaning crews are involved.

Along with the intensified cleaning of the city, work is in the process of removing snow. More than 3,000 tons were removed during the night. Mobile snow-melting complexes also worked.

Drivers are asked to refrain from traveling in their own cars. Reducing the load, in particular on car traffic, will allow utility services to deal with the effects of the weather as effectively as possible.

In order for road vehicles to clean the city without difficulty, Kyivavtodor asks not to leave cars on roadsides, extreme lanes of roads, and sidewalks.
