Ukraine didn't buy and won't buy PCR tests produced in Russia - Health Minister
Ukraine hasn't purchased and doesn't plan to purchase PCR tests manufactured in Russia.
Health Minister Maksym Stepanov announced this during a press briefing in Kyiv.
"Tests were purchased in China, USA, Korea, Poland, Germany, Great Britain, France, Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Turkey, Singapore. Russia is not on the list. Most PCR tests are purchased from the Ukrainian manufacturer "Ukrainian Genetic Technologies" and according to the state order and by private laboratories," he said.
According to the Minister, in Ukraine, there are three legal entities registered in Russia that carry out their activities through Ukrainian suppliers.
"The percentage of using PCR systems, the production of which is registered in Russia, is less than 0.6%. It is used only in some private laboratories. The state hasn't purchased, doesn't purchase, and doesn't plan to purchase," Stepanov said.
