Mass coronavirus vaccination in Ukraine will begin in February; Ukrainian citizens will receive COVID-19 vaccination passports like citizens of the European Union.

The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov stated this.

"I know for sure that we'll start vaccinating in February this year. This is exactly what we'll have. If we focus on what we've already signed with Sinovac, it's 700 thousand doses they must deliver us within 30 calendar days from the registration date," the head of the Ministry of Health said.

According to him, they expect the registration of this drug completed in January, after which vaccination will begin.

"We've taken serious steps with the countries producing these vaccines. I think that in February, which will come in two weeks, we'll really start mass vaccination in our country. And everything you say about passports, about all other documents citizens of the European Union will receive, will be received in the same way by citizens of Ukraine," Stepanov told.
