Speaking up = being heard? How public organizations influence climate policy
It turns out that Ukraine generates 69% of greenhouse gas emissions among the Eastern Partnership countries. Can the public influence environmental policy? We analyzed the examples of partnership countries
Civil society in the Eastern Partnership countries is actively working with their governments to achieve effective climate policies and achieve the ambitious goals of the Green Deal. However, it's not always possible to influence as effectively as one would like, although there are plenty of success stories. It's shown by the results of the "Climate Policy and Civil Society: The Future of the Eastern Partnership Countries in the Context of the European Green Deal (2020)" study, conducted by the public organization, Resource and Analysis Center "Society and Environment" with the support of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Foundation and in partnership with 350.org. international organization.
