Missile strikes, destruction, and occupation have wiped out part of the country's power generation capacity, leaving millions facing electricity shortages. The solution? Instead of rebuilding what was lost, Ukraine is creating something new and better — a decentralized and resilient power network. To make it happen, the government introduced the Energy Conscious initiative, a package of energy resilience programs encouraging Ukrainians to install solar panels, wind turbines, and other renewable systems in their homes, apartment buildings, and businesses.
Ukraine's intangible cultural heritage is more than just knowledge, skills, or traditions. It's a living experience passed down through generations that shapes who Ukrainians are. As an integral part of this heritage, Ukrainian cuisine preserves not just recipes but also Ukrainian history.
