Russian attack on Kremenchuk injures 34, including two children

A Russian attack on Kremenchuk, Poltava region, on October 7, killed two people and injured 34 others, including two children born in 2012.

Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Vitalii Diakivnych announced the casualty figures, according to Rubryka.

As of 12:55 p.m., authorities confirmed two fatalities and 34 injuries. Among the injured are two children born in 2012.

"Ten of the victims remain in serious condition. People continue to seek medical attention, so the casualty count is being updated," Diakivnych noted.

He also informed that emergency response headquarters have been established, where residents can submit claims for damaged property, receive assistance, and report their needs. Representatives of public services and humanitarian organizations are operating on site.

According to the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Kremenchuk City Council, the strike damaged five apartment buildings containing a total of 431 apartments. The attack also damaged 35 private houses and completely destroyed six private residential homes.
