On the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, Rivne officially opened and consecrated a new veteran space called "Svitlytsia Zakhysnyka" ("Defender's Parlor"). Located in the city center, the facility is situated near public transit stops along an accessible, barrier-free route.

Organizers established the space to support veterans, their families, and relatives of missing service members or prisoners of war.

At the center, visitors can access consultations and essential social services under one roof.
During construction, developers prioritized physical accessibility. The premises feature threshold-free entryways, tactile paving leading from the street, and Braille-duplicated signage.

Head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Koval emphasized that the space must remain accessible to:
- Defenders
- Their loved ones
- Families of missing or captive service personnel

He noted that beyond offering administrative assistance, such facilities must foster an empathetic environment where people feel heard and supported in resolving complex issues.
"Defender's Parlor" operates via a combined front-office and back-office model using a "one-stop shop" framework. Guided by a dedicated coordinator, visitors can receive administrative guidance and consultations in a single visit.

Background
A new rehabilitation and physical conditioning space for veterans opened in Kropyvnytskyi, Kirovohrad region, hosted at the local Dynamo sports complex.
Additionally, the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) launched "Liha Duzhykh" ("League of the Strong"), a social initiative designed to engage individuals with limb amputations or impaired limb function in adaptive football.
In Velykyi Liubin, Lviv region, Ukraine inaugurated its first integrated veteran rehabilitation center, spanning 2,100 square meters.
