Overnight Russian attack damages 25-story building in Kyiv and forces hospital evacuation in Zaporizhzhia

An overnight attack damaged residential and non-residential buildings in Kyiv, injuring one person. Russian troops also struck three districts in the Kyiv region overnight. Meanwhile, in Zaporizhzhia, rescuers evacuated five people from a damaged hospital, with one person sustaining minor injuries.
The Kyiv City Military Administration, Air Force, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko, and Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Mykhailo Semikin reported the attacks, according to Rubryka.

Air raid alerts sounded in Kyiv and several regions across Ukraine overnight on September 25, with local authorities urging capital residents to head to the nearest shelters.
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko later reported a UAV crash into a non-residential building in the Solomianskyi district.

"In the Solomianskyi district, a UAV fell onto a non-residential building," Klychko wrote on Telegram.
The mayor emphasized the missile threat facing the capital and called on residents to remain in shelters.
The Kyiv City Military Administration subsequently reported that falling debris hit a 25-story residential building in the Solomianskyi district.
According to preliminary information, the strike hit the multi-story building on the fourth floor.
In another location within the Solomianskyi district, falling drone debris ignited a fire in an open area near a non-residential building, while at a third address, a non-residential roof caught fire and was destroyed.

In the Podilskyi district, the Russian attack damaged a non-residential building. The Kyiv SES later clarified that a fire broke out across the first and second floors of a six-story non-residential building.
The attack injured one person in Kyiv, who is receiving necessary medical assistance.

As of 7:32 a.m., emergency services had extinguished fires at all locations.
In the morning, a drone struck another multi-story building in central Kyiv.
"In the Pecherskyi district, a UAV hit a high-rise building between the 7th and 10th floors," Klychko wrote on social media.
Before the hit, officials had issued a drone threat alert in the capital.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported one person injured from the UAV crash in the Pecherskyi district.
Overnight on September 24, Russian forces also attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles, triggering a series of explosions. That attack killed two people and injured eight, with debris falling, fires, and destruction recorded across several districts, damaging warehouses, administrative and private buildings, and facilities near a maternity hospital.

In the Boryspil district, a strike ignited a fire at a woodworking enterprise. Responders from the SES, alongside local and volunteer fire units, are dismantling and spraying down the structures.

In the Obukhiv district, three private houses and four passenger cars sustained damage.
Emergency services are operating at all impact sites. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.

Zaporizhzhia
Morning strikes by Russian troops in Zaporizhzhia damaged two hospitals.
Rescuers evacuated five people from one of the damaged medical facilities. Preliminary reports indicate one man suffered minor injuries, with no other casualties reported at that time.
At the second hospital in the city, the attack damaged:
- Hospital premises
- An ambulance
- Civilian vehicles
Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Mykhailo Semikin wrote on social media:
"Five people were evacuated from the medical facility damaged in the morning attack. Preliminary reports indicate that one man sustained minor injuries. There are no other injured individuals as of now. Thank you to all the services working on-site and promptly assisting people."
