Russian drone attack on Kyiv kills two and injures 25

On the afternoon of September 23, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with drones, killing two people and increasing the number of injured to 25.
According to Rubryka, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko reported the attack, stressing that the number of injured in the capital reached 25, with 17 currently hospitalized.
Two people died: one man died in the hospital, and another died at the site of the attack.

Overnight on September 23, Russian drones continued to attack the Ukrainian capital, causing damage across several districts of Kyiv.
Reports on the initial consequences of the Russian strikes on Kyiv emerged in the morning. In the Solomianskyi district, UAV debris fell between residential buildings.
The attack also triggered a fire on the grounds of a transport enterprise. Reports later confirmed that a drone fell onto a store building, while another UAV struck the fourth floor of a nine-story non-residential building.
- In the Holosiivskyi district, emergency services recorded a fire in warehouses and a UAV strike on a gas station. Additionally, a drone fell onto a four-story business center, the roof of a non-residential building, and the grounds of a transport infrastructure facility.
- In the Darnytskyi district, a strike damaged a transport infrastructure facility, while another attack set fire to the roof of a gas station. Officials initially reported three casualties, all of whom were hospitalized, with two in serious condition. The number of injured later rose to eight, and one of the hospitalized victims in serious condition died in the hospital.
