Russia’s overnight strikes injure six in Odesa and three in Zaporizhzhia, hit critical infrastructure in Kropyvnytskyi

Russian forces struck Odesa and Zaporizhzhia and also attacked Kropyvnytskyi overnight on September 17. The strikes damaged a 19-story apartment building and private homes in Odesa, industrial facilities in Zaporizhzhia, and a critical infrastructure facility in Kropyvnytskyi.
Odesa City Military Administration head Serhii Lysak, Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Mykhailo Semikin, and Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration head Andrii Raikovych reported the attacks, according to Rubryka.
Odesa
Russian forces attacked Odesa overnight on September 17. The strike caused damage.
"Odesa is under enemy attack. A high-rise building has been damaged," City Military Administration head Serhii Lysak wrote.
Initial reports indicated at least three people had been injured, but the number later rose.

Lysak later provided further details about those injured.
"We now know of three people injured in the enemy attack on Odesa. They include a three-year-old child," he said.
All those injured are receiving the medical care they need.

Updated reports confirmed that the overnight attack damaged a 19-story apartment building in Odesa. In another district of the city, a Russian strike destroyed one private home and damaged another.
The attack also damaged outbuildings.
According to updated information, the attack injured six people in total, including two children.

Crews continue to clear up the damage and board up shattered windows at the affected sites. Emergency responders and municipal services are carrying out the work. Authorities have set up an emergency coordination center to help residents.
In addition to residential properties, the attack also damaged infrastructure in the city, Serhii Lysak added.
Zaporizhzhia
Russian forces launched a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia overnight on September 17. The attack injured three people.
"A woman and two men sustained injuries. They are receiving all necessary medical care," Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Mykhailo Semikin said on social media.
According to regional authorities, Russian missiles hit industrial facilities. The strike partially destroyed buildings. A fire broke out at one of the sites.
Rescue crews are working at the affected sites, Semikin added.
Kirovohrad region
Russian forces also launched another attack on Kropyvnytskyi. They targeted a critical infrastructure facility.
"The enemy struck a critical infrastructure facility in the city. The relevant services are currently monitoring the situation," the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration said.
Raikovych again urged residents of the region not to ignore air raid alerts.
This was the second attack on Kropyvnytskyi in two days. The previous day, September 16, Russian forces struck the city center. That attack injured four people.
Three of them received medical care at healthcare facilities. One woman declined hospitalization.
