The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has codified and approved a new domestically produced ground robotic system, Bizon-L, for use in the armed forces.
The Ministry of Defense press service reported this on Telegram, according to Rubryka.
The ministry states:
"It is difficult to detect with thermal imagers. It can be equipped with a 12.7 mm caliber machine gun combat module. It keeps moving even when enemy electronic warfare is active, as it features six types of communication: LTE, Wi-Fi, Starlink, and more."
The Bizon-L boasts the following specifications:
- Top speed: up to 12 km/h
- Payload capacity: up to 300 kg
- Range: up to 50 km
Additionally, the system can:
- Transport cargo, ammunition, and wounded soldiers
- Deploy engineering barriers
- Lay mines
- Serve as a mobile platform for antennas, repeaters, or electronic warfare equipment

"In the first half of 2026, the Ministry of Defense will contract for the supply of 25,000 ground robotic systems from manufacturers — twice as many as were delivered during the entire previous year," the press service emphasized.
